Daily Report 22/08



Hello my friends..
Wellcome back to my blog,
2nd day in 2nd week of practical in the kitchen, because our product is failed yesterday so we make the product until success. If  same like yesterday we must run again....hehehe but now 6 times around if you failed again in second chance.
Yesterday my baguette is good so today i just make pullman loaf bread, but not with rei again because he has a job for make a lunch for our guest. So i’m alone, so sad (lying).
No problem i will fight for myself. if you want to make a best food just do it with your heart and believe you can do it.
I’ll do it at last because all molds is used, i’m try to wait them until done with helped 3rd semester for her menu today.

After my friends is done and their bread has been checked, some of my friends is success but most of all is failed again..okay run..go go go...6 times around...hihihi.
But i’m not safe because i’m started at last, i could run too. But i hope i don’t.
I used same recipe, my mistake of yesterday is i just used half recipe so today i make it with full or 1 recipe.
Pullman Loaf Bread
500gr Flour
7gr Yeast
20gr Sugar
30gr Milk powder
15gr Butter
3gr Salt
100ml Milk
200ml Water (cold)
Method :
1.      Mix all dry ingredients, rub in with your hands.
2.      After mix add butter and liquids.
3.      Placed your dough in the table
4.      Kneeded until kales.
5.      Rest in the room temperature until the dough is double size
6.      Knock back the dough for release the gas.
7.      Folding or modelling and put into the mold.
8.      Keep it in proofing machine for 45 minutes. Always checked the dough.
9.      Bake in the oven for 1 hour (250oC).

After i baked the bread and waiting for 1 hour. We all of 5th semester came in to the class and ready for me to telling story used english. Because today is my turn and i’ll explain about leavening agent. Maybe not interesting information but i hope you can put a learn from my sharing.
After that, i'll checked my bread and after i put out in the oven the result is great. good shape, smells and taste is good my lecturer said good too.
i did it (cheers up) yeeeeeee....you just put love in your food.

There are two person :
 
1. Sri Wahyuningsih explained about apple
She’s explained history of apple, kinds of apples and we try to ate it so that we can know how the taste how the texture and the characteristic of the different of various kinds of apples.

2. Cindy Lois Explained about chocolate
Cilo explained how the chocolate is farmed, the history, the smells, the taste, composition,  the process until mixed with other ingredients. We also try the kinds of chocolate we used in the kitchen. There are couverture chocolate, milk chocolate, white chocholate and dark chocholate.

A lot of knowledge that we've got today, and hopefully we can consistent with achievement today.
And i hope we all the 5th semester can be a professional chef as our future goals.
